Good sorcerer multiclasses?
I'm building a sorcerer that can with the help of buffs fight in melee as well as use spells effectively.

What classes are good for that to multiclass? Since lvl cap is at 20 but total lvl cap is 30 so you get 10 levels to spend on something else.

My default to go would be Eldritch knight, but i heard someone mention Ranger, last game i took Hellknight Signifier and while it was nice to wear heavy armor it felt kinda useless.

Total level cap is 20. Sole exception is the Legend mythic path with an extended level cap of 40. What you probably heard of are the 10 mythic ranks that are additionally provided for non-Legend mythic paths.

If you are going for any other mythic path you have to split your 20 levels carefully. Dragon Disciple is a favourite of many. Other prestige classes... not so much.

Ok so you were right, went back to check my Lich character, i had taken 3 levels in Signifier, thus locking me out of my final bloodline perks.

If i take 4 levels of Dragon Disciple, i would still progress my bloodline yes?

All i would lose is the +1 caster level increase and 2 uses of 9 lvl spells because i'd essentially be comparable to a lvl 19 sorcerer when it comes to spellcasting levels, but gain the bloodline perks and whatever extra the Dragon Disciple gives?

if you want a melee sorcerer i would recommand eldth scion its magus sub class. you still get the bloodline and you can cast touch spells thought your as a quick action so you get 1 extra atk per turn the only down side to it is only 6th lvl spells but meh as get higher lvl spells form your mythic path so its not really a down side

good multiclass options for melee sorc are as follows.
1 level of scalefist monk, Charisma to AC, listed as other.
1 level of oracle, enlightened preferably. Charisma replaces dex for AC
2 levels of paladin, Charisma to Saves.
1-10 Eldritch knight, good for more melee stuff
1-10 Dragon disciple- meh

You should decide on what you want your mythic class to be, and what you want to do damage as. I did a lich dragon before and the damage was insane. It was able to kill every enemy in the game in one round, End boss asisde. One week after I posted pictures it was hot fixed and nerfed thou. Still strong.

My mercenary sorcerer is a straight halfling sylvan sorcerer 20 with a leopard companion. No multiclass for me. My MC is a halfling Angel Nature Oracle wielding the Scimitar of Wind, rising a wolf.

Heavy armor is absolutely useless - worse, it actually caps the ridiculous bonuses to AC you can get when you stack bonuses right.

It was pointed out by someone else above:
Oracle > Nature - Nature's Whisper converts CHA to AC instead of Dex (Love Oracles, but the archetypes aren't worth it)
1 Level to Scalefist goes to AC as well (that's a double dip from your casting stat)
2 levels for paladin for Cha saves works as well.

If you're wanting to hit things, consider spells like Transformation to turn you into a warrior for a time - there's always shapeshifting but eh.

If you're concerned about your level 20 perk for Sorc you can always burn a Mythic level to get that but it's not really worth it.

And yeah, your mythic path is going to dictate a lot - Lich and Angel specifically for spellbook merge (don't pass on level 10 spells).

For melee sorcerer you want to go draconic bloodline, DD4, EK10, scaled fist1. No need to lose 2 caster levels by splashing paladin, simply be lawful good and have someone cast the spells "bestow grace" and "bestow grace of the champion" on you when you need high saves.

Loremaster for full caster.
Hellknight Signifier + Eldritch Knight for melee/caster hybrid.
Scaled Fist + Paladin + Eldritch Knight for full melee.
