Dead party member, how to revive him?

Had the cleric die out in a zone pretty far away from 'home'. His portrait is greyed out and had noone with me who could read a raise dead scroll.

Made it back to the castle and am trying to figure out what to do, or how this would work.

The local cleric says she can 'read a scroll' but I dont see an option for her to revive/read the raise dead scroll even if I have one in my inventory.

Do I literally have to load up my other cleric, run out there again, revive/raise dead the dead cleric and thats the only way?

use from inventory and aim for portrait in party bar

Open your inventory, select your dead companion and right click on a raise dead scroll from your inventory.

Thought having to go out there all old school like was just too clunky.
