Is there a way to get rid of Unseen Guardian buff in Act 4?

I'm currently in Act 4 in my first playthrough, and I was just wondering if there was some way to get rid of the Unseen Guardian buff? It feels super lame to have an angel intervene in my fights, and with my MC having Last Stand, such intervention hasn't actually been either needed or desired any of the times the effect has activated. I'm getting pretty pissed off about the whole thing, and I feel like the buff has more or less ruined the tension and sense of achievement in a few otherwise relatively tough and interesting fights.

Okay, thanks for the answer. It's a shame if there's no option to tell the Hand to just mind his own business and leave me alone, but I guess I'll just have to bear with him for now.
