is it me or secret ending makes other myth paths obselete?

So i just by accident spoiled secret ending for myself and i gotta say i feel kinda dissapointed becuz apparently you can literally ascend as a GOD so you are above everyone and everyone else feels like insects to you whats the point from other myth paths why would you wanna become demon lord or lich king or some mythic angel in the end if you can just become god and kinda feels bad finishing the game as any other mythic atleast thats how i feel

If you try to the ascension ending you will still be a mythical creature till then

Because these Mythical Powers are the Reason you are able to ascend in the first place xD

That said I did the Gold Dragon ending last night and I LOVED it . I thought I would not like it because I knew I could not ascend but turned out he could come out on top
You spare Areelu, don't close the worldwound but instead guard it, and give the middle finger to Nocticula and Iomedae at the same time . Dragons clear out all demons and if anything pops out of the worldwound = instant death by dragons. Meanwhile you just sit in your cozy Drezen that becomes a major point of interest if you maxed all your stats. (I chose to remain in Drezen , there is anotehr option )Companion slides also mentioned you hang out in Kenabres. The only downside is that Deskari and Bahomet are still alive but hey you can easily kill them once per year with your powers.

Also I heard that the trickster can Become and Eldest which is pretty much a demigod anyways

I was half expecting them to be the ONLY path able to do this lol. It's kind of a trope in media for the protagonist who keeps pushing away easy power to end up being deemed "worthy" of receiving the highest powers.

Trickster can break from the "reality" itself, and just.. be there, doing whatever the ♥♥♥♥ trickster wants, but yeah, you can also become one WITH one of the eldest, which is the bad ending for trickster
