Stuck in chapter 7 due to not having a required odoris.

At the part just after acquiring the ability to craft odoris, I used up too much as the position to throw it to progress seemed very picky. At the next section, you're required to use the crossbow with odoris to progress, but I don't have any now. The bolts will respawn if you use them all, but the mats needed to craft odoris don't. I appear to be stuck.. is there anything I can do?

I hadn't expected chapter select to work before I'd finished the game, but it did, and even had sub sections, so didn't have to replay much, so ta for suggestion.
