What a waste! A utterly absurd ending that rendered all the work of two entire parts pointless!
You could have made the story about the first protectors and carriers, but you chose to squander everything built in the first part, which was truly a masterpiece !
This is in addition to the constant glitches that occur whenever there's another person assisting Amicia, beside repetitive, vicious cycle. All of this could have been forgiven if the ending had been satisfying, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. The entire ending was a disappointment

The first game gave me hope after all the horror. This one took that hope and shattered it into a thousand pieces of despair and grief. 😭💔 Amicia's and Hugo’s bond remains the heartbreaking core of the game, the atmosphere is beautiful, the gameplay is really fun, and the rat swarms hit harder than ever. But it’s that damn ending that destroys you, just raw, lingering pain.

Masterful storytelling. 10/10 Must Play

Formidable sequel to an already great game. The story continues great on where they left off, and the ending will leave you in shambles, not even craving for any more lore. I think this series of 2 games has about as good of a story as a developer can possibly achieve.

As for the gameplay, I see lots of complaints about repetitiveness. Although I disagree with these complaints, I would note that some sections of puzzles are maybe a bit too long. However, if you're used to story games, you'll realize that these kind of problems are really not that big of a deal. The game has a great balance between gameplay and lore(or reward, as you can call it).

One thing I would like to note is that, despite the minimum specs being remarkably higher than A Plague Tale: Innocence, the graphics did not improve that much. Could be my PCs problem(my specs below), but keep it in mind. The 'recommended specs' aren't fully accurate.

However, the game is amazing regardless. I would go as far as to say that this deserves credit close to the communities favourite games, but I imagine most people dont really like parenting simulators and stealthiness without much fighting. Its a real gamble to create a game like this, but in my opinion the gamble worked out perfectly.

9.3/10, would absolutely recommend buying the game. Not sure if I'd pay full price for it, but on any discount; its worth it.
