Everything not RDR2
I disabled Vsync and triple buffer in the game and let Nvidia handle that for now... it solved my problem.
1.) Disable both the in-game triple buffering and vsync options. Exit the game.
2.) Enable both through the nvidia control panel.
3.) Go to C:\Users\'User'\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings\system.xml and set it to read-only.
4.) Launch the game. When you're in the main menu, go to settings and re-apply the in-game vsync option.
Now the game will run smoothly until you quit. The annoying part is that you'll have redo step 4 for every time you want to play, which is also why step 3 is necessary. If you just leave the in-game vsync on, the stuttering will come back after you restart..
I know this might all seem a bit random, but for me, this method really does fix the stuttering. I've tested it multiple times..
Including the system.xml.
Start up Rockstar launcher,do a Verify system files. Start the game up after and reset your graphic settings to what you previously used.
Bah sorry to hear it didnt fix it.
