Will Rockstar ever add new horses to RDO? And what about High Power Pistol

It has been a year and best RDO horse Black Arabian which is not that hard to get btw, and was the 2nd horse I bought after Red Arabian, I figure I buy White one next since there is a discount untill March, anyway, There should be a horse that gets its stats maxed out 10/10/10 or something like that with a proper saddle. Because Arabian goes 9/.9/9
Maybe Gold Arabian? And where is that sweet 1899 pistol

BS. The max level new horses for all roles are the best horses in game. Arabians are only good at low mid level. Its not single player.

Each horse has their own strengths and weaknesses, like everything else in this game, I like that R* did this.
While I want more horse, I really don't want this game to suffer from power-creep, in which every horse or weapon that comes out is increasingly better and more powerful than the last. A game in which there's good horses and guns, and bad horses and guns does not have much variety.

They've added plenty inferior cars to GTAO with every update.
They've added taxis, Russian oldtimers and most recently a firetruck.

The timeline in GTAO started out before the GTAV single player story as well.
Then after several jumps forward, it ended up in 2017, and currently is in 2019.

It now simultaneously happens in early 2013 (before SP), 2017 and 2019 (after SP), depending on which missions you play.

I'm pretty sure such an anachronism will happen RDO eventually as well, when Rockstar run out of content and start dripfeeding us the remaining single player content.

It's actually not straightforward to figure out which horse is "the best." There are pros and cons to each - especially when you consider courage (which unfortunately, is an invisible stat). e.g. the Arabians are fast, but they have low courage, so they're much more skittish than some of the alternatives and are more likely to throw you when you approach a dangerous animal. Even just looking at pure stats, ignoring the issue of courage, while the Arabians are fast, they're not the fastest horses. The only stat where they beat out all of the other horses currently in the game is handling. The best Norfolk Roadster beats them on speed and matches them for acceleration (while having worse handling). And other horses have higher health and/or stamina than any of the Arabians or Norfolk Roadsters. You have to look at all of their stats as well as consider how the saddle and stirrups affect their stats (e.g. as long as stamina reaches a certain level, having the Nacogdoches Saddle + Hooded Stirrups effectively makes your horse's stamina infinite, so focusing on the horse with the max stamina isn't necessarily good). There is no clear winner.

And of course, there's courage, which is ill-defined and too invisible IMHO, but it's one reason that plenty of online players pick horses other than an Arabian as their main horse. According to that reddit post, the Missouri Fox Trotter and Turkoman breeds are very popular, in part because they have better courage. And of course, future horses could upset things. If you look over the role horses, you can see that they're some of the best horses, but which exactly is the best depends on what you're looking for, and depending on what you're looking for, they may or may not beat out some of the old favorites. So, they've already shaken things up on some level. Who knows what we'll get with horses in the future.

Personally, what I really wish is that they'd make the courage situation clear and concrete. I'm sick of horses freaking out over wolves or bullets, and while having really high courage likely wouldn't be worth putting up with low stats, for me, it could certainly lean things towards choosing a horse whose other stats aren't the highest. Currently, I'm working my way through the various high end horses, buying them and leveling them up one by one to see how they work for me actually playing in-game to see if I can make a choice as to which one is going to work the best, and I have no clue which one I'm going to end up with, though it almost certainly won't be an Arabian due to the courage issue.

Man, would be cool if they added those old school 1910 cars. Like the one you see driven in the ending of RDR1 and here in the final RDO Online Story Mission and I do not mean to make em faster than horses. Just added for fun lol, maybe with a machine gun attached for a possee member. Engine should handle it

The Courage thing is not real. Many players report that every horse has the same courage and regarding Arabian horses, if you press G which is standard for Calm and keep doing it, it will never kick you over but even then Arabian has most health for pvp (black arabian) and best overall stats which make it the best horse and no wonder it is highest unlock horse with highest amount to pay for it. 42 gold bars and rank 70. Whereas it is easy to grind roles to 20.

But less health and your friend might not be mashing enough. Besides somebody mention stamina is not important. Still Arabian is overall the best horse, it is silly to argue that when it has all the stats. And being the jack of all trades and a good one at that it is the best choice. Besides it has best skins ^^ just waiting for gold one with all 10s costing 72 gold ^^ and rank 100

yeah you keep saying numbers like 8 health core but besides that there is also actual health capacity that is shown in a circle as well as stamina. It is different from Health core or Stamina core as it is not the core itself which affects regen of them but is the total amount of health the beast has before it dies and stamina runs out. Black Arabian has it maxed out, besides they have elite handling too.
Edit: so you are saying your horse is better because it has 10 speed? Mine has faster acceleration which is a better trade off than 10 speed, has same stamina and more health which is better for pvp. Besides better actual heatlh and stamina. Arabian is best horse still

The lvl 20moonshine horse is actually faster. ”best” is debateable since theres always a con to the pro. The lvl 20moonshine horse maxes out at 10 9 which makes it faster than the black arabian with 9 9. It does have abit less health but i own both and my black arabian gets two shoted same as the moonshine horse by a carcano. So speedwise black arabian isnt the best but i do think its the best for a allrounder since the 1extra less point in speed doesnt make a big difference in short distance instead it gets around 20% more health. At the end they both are on par like i said ”best” is debateable.
