Known Issues

Updated: April 29, 2026

The following known issues are getting addressed in upcoming patches and hotfixes.

Highlighted issues
Technical and Stability
  • Game performance can drop below target performance in certain game locations, situations or cinematics.

    • We are addressing performance in a future update, including improving performance around high-density areas in Hagga Basin, several identified instances of stuttering (i.e. when traveling and in areas with many players), performance spikes when using certain tools, and several other optimizations.

    • Performance efforts will continue and improve further in all upcoming patches, particularly as we increase our focus on optimization alongside the console launch later this year.

  • Some players may experience degraded performance during the sandstorm's fade-out period.

    • Potential workaround: Disable GPU Super-Resolution in the driver.

    • NVIDIA (DLDSR / Image Scaling):

      • Open NVIDIA Control Panel

      • Go to Manage 3D settings

      • Disable Image Scaling or DLDSR factors

      • Apply changes

      AMD (RSR):

      • Open AMD Adrenalin Software

      • Go to Graphics

      • Disable Radeon Super Resolution (RSR)

      Intel:

      • Open Intel Graphics Command Center

      • Check Display / Scaling settings

      • Disable any upscaling / super resolution options

User Interface
  • The party markers may overlap quest markers on the para-compass if a party member is at the quest location.

  • The game client can boot with framegen disabled and incorrectly list it as enabled.

    • Workaround: Re-enable this setting for it to work again as intended.

  • In Arrakeen, the Player Marker on the map is offset compared to the character's position.

  • Arrakeen City Locations map markers are categorized as vendors in the Filter menu and cannot be filtered using the Locations filtering option.

  • Some shipwrecks in the Deep Desert don’t have a 3D model on the map.

  • Splitting a lubricant stack inside a Wind Turbine triggers a false "Running out of power" notification.

Deep Desert & Landsraad
  • Storm warnings are not displayed when traveling to a multi-dimension Deep Desert.

  • NEW You may be unable to interact with Landsraad mission items.

    • Workaround: Shooting the item should allow you to interact with it. (This is how bugs are sometimes…)

Combat
  • The crosshair damage feedback may be displayed at distances beyond the weapon’s effective distance.

  • NEW The Facedancer might not have a Health Bar in the ‘A Deadly Poison’ mission.

  • When using the Hunter-Seeker to kill the Paranoid, the journey will not complete.

    • Workaround: Kill the boss by any other means.

Vehicles
  • Vehicle variants and swatches may fail to replicate correctly to the player at long distances.

  • When you travel with a harnessed vehicle to Hagga Basin or Deep Desert, the harnessed vehicle may land quite farther away from the carrier.

  • The Cargo Container does not take any damage from weapons or abilities.

Graphics, Animations and VFX
  • The background can be missing/not properly loaded during dialogue with Seron Varlin in the “A Tormented Soul” and “Art of the Sword” contacts.

  • The player character twitches unnaturally multiple times during the Interrogation cinematic.

Worldbuilding and Exploration
  • When landing an ornithopter close to a trade post, you may have to walk away from the trade post for a short distance to trigger a new chapter.

  • NPCs inside the Imperial Testing Station No. 136 Boss Arena may not reset for party members when a player dies inside the arena while the party members are waiting outside.

  • Call to Duty introductory call VO may be cut off when traveling to or inside a social hub.

  • You may end up on the wrong Sietch after logging in or traveling, while your base and vehicles remain on your home Sietch.

    • When you think that your base and vehicles are missing, double-check that you are on the correct Sietch.

Story, Journey and New Player Experience
  • When completing the Ganan contract chain, the "Additional contracts will become available" message will stay visible even though all contracts are completed.

  • When using the Pack Mule perk, quest items might occupy the added inventory slots.

    • Workaround: Players should be able to free up extra slots by rearranging quest items in their inventory or dragging them outside of the available slots.

  • The ‘Merchant’ and ‘Those Who Control The Spice…’ achievements may not be awarded after fulfilling the required criteria.

Resources, Building and Crafting
  • Dune Man building set’s Wedge and Angled Roof may have snapping issues.

  • Personal crafting queue will be stuck after character transfer if not paused. The player will need to pause and un-pause the queue after relogin.

  • Some players may be missing DLC/Twitch drop building pieces from their game.

  • Base Reconstruction Tool:

    • When you toggle the “Original Material” option on the backed-up base that has holograms, the holograms incorrectly appear filled in rather than transparent.

    • Doors and Prudence Doors' interior meshes are not displayed when toggling Original Material in the Base Reconstruction Tool.

    • When backing up and restoring a base while a Deathstill is running, its timer will increase to 22 days.

Audio
  • Missing destruction SFX for all mineable buggies and ornithopters.

  • Sandstorm weather alert audio message is being played during the Coriolis storm.

  • Your microphone may become unmuted system-wide when switching audio devices in game.

Earlier today we hotfixed an issue that was causing some items to move or disappear in your inventory when you logged into a map. This regression was caused by our fix for the durability exploit which we released on Friday.

The specifics of the bug is that if you swapped items between two different inventories those items might "stack" in the database. Both items appeared to be fine on your client, but the first time you initialize your inventory by logging into the game or traveling to a new map, it will only display one of the stacked items. The hidden item is still there, but can not be displayed on the client.

In order to manually fix this you need to have the inventory slot where the items stacked empty when you log into the game. The easiest way to do this is:

  1. Player inventory - Remove all items from your inventory, log out of the game for at least 30 seconds, log back in.

  2. Items in the hotbar - Same as above, remove all hotbar slots, log out for 30 seconds, and log back in.

  3. Vehicle/Storage inventory - These are more difficult since you can't restart the server yourself. Your two options are to remove all items and destroy the storage box. The hidden item will spawn on the floor in an "empty" loot container. Make sure you have room in your personal inventory, then use loot all on the loot container. Proceed to log out for 30 seconds, then log back in will reveal the item. Alternatively you can remove items from the storage/vehicle inventory and wait for a server reset.

We will also try to fix this on our side during the next patch downtime.

We are actively looking into other inventory loss on map change, and will update as we have more information.
