If you enjoy 3rd partying or playing zone/ring for positioning you will enjoy crypto
If you enjoy aggression, mobility, taking fights and fast rotations you will enjoy valkyrie
Personally I say try valkyrie, she is pretty fun and she feels like she won't be buffed and only might be nerfed, so enjoy it now rather than later.
valk 100%
crypto loba, both in trash tier
Loba only for loot and run
Crypto is really gud for support (10 Assist in single match
If the % chance of winning is a big factor in fun for you, all 3 are looking like they'll rank highly.
Loba, however, is looking like she'll be the higher of these 3 now that her tac has been mostly fixed and meaningfully buffed.
Valk is also sounding like she'll be in a strong place in the meta. She's balanced but good.
Crypto is a wildcard but also strong for getting a team to victory. He's a wildcard because he's good if you have learnt to use him very well, but quite bad if you haven't.
But it's probably a bad idea to choose your Legend based on any of that. This way of considering any Legend only applies if you are fairly highly skilled, and you expect to be playing with team mates who coordinate their Legends, and you play in games where everyone is communicating a lot. If those things aren't happening then your Legend's meta ranking isn't going to make a fraction of the difference those other factors will.
For typical play what really matters is that you are feeling like you're having an effect on the game, and you are feeling like things are fun. That's why I say Valk is probably the easy winner.
It's hard to feel effective with Crypto when you're in a game with randoms, and that's even when you're a good Crypto player. If players aren't synchronising with Crypto he becomes the guy that keeps getting left behind and alone.
Loba and Valk can both easily feel like they're having an effect on the game. Loba's teleport means you can be aggressive with that easy escape for backup. Valk's tac + passive easily allows her to feel just as effective in battle, if not more so. Loba's ult is very useful very often. Valk's ult is very useful very often.
But for fun? Valkyrie, easily.
She does like 37 different things. She is bizarrely over-functional/over-featured compared to all the other Legends. She's the only Legend with a whole setting in the options that exists only for her. And the only Legend with a complete extra controllable move (the jets), and that move itself has 4 different ways to control it. It's listed as her passive but it isn't remotely passive; you'll use it 20 times more than her tac or her ult or any Legend's tac or ult or practically anything else in the game that isn't a gun. It doesn't even have a restrictive cooldown like anyone's tactical does. And then she has another passive (scanning). And then she has the recon passive (beacons) on top of that. And then she alone, of all the Legends, can also identify the champion player when you drop in. And the real Mirage.
So in summary:
- All 3 Legends you asked about compare in the pro rankings meta.
- Loba and Valk also compare for how easily they are able to feel effective.
- So that leaves fun, and for just feeling like fun stuff is happening all the time, Valk is way above the other 2.
Loba and Crypto are actually 2 of the game's Legends that I would put as quite low in the rankings if we were talking in terms of "fun tier". Valk, meanwhile would be very high in those rankings, if not the highest.
