There is no middle man between you and the person you are connecting to for co-op. If the game is taking a long time or you have lag issues in game you’ll want to make sure the check connections and that the other pc meets min requirements

Definitely has some issues with performance. Even playing locally with my wife has plenty of stutters and lag. :(
