Cannot Login and Black title screen problem! [Dragon Nest] [Fixed?]
I cannot get on Dragon Nest anymore for some reason and it keeps kicking me out because of this black title screen. There's no animation behind it and it won't let me go in the server. I looked around for help and no one seems to have the same problem.

I believe it started like that because of "The Bitter End" mission when I got to level 75 on my Gear Master. I cannot play the scene everytime I talked to Teram about the history fo the six heroes. Now, I can't even log in.

I'm not sure if it's just my laptop acting up, or the game files itself.

I did everything I could:

-checked the files in the properites (verifying files)
-un/reinstalled it

Please help if you know the solution. I would absolutely appreciate it. Thank you.

EDIT #2:

So I've waited for weeks and somehow Dragon Nest worked! But I got the email from the devs and here what they said:

- wait for a few minutes before trying to access the game again
- restart your PC then try to log back in
- run the game as administrator (If you are running DN from Steam. To do this, you must locate the DragonNest.exe. You have to go to Steam> Steamapps > common >Dragon Nest and locate the .exe and right click it and select Properties > Compatibility tab > Check the box on "Run this program as an administrator")
- exclude the (Dragon Nest) client from your anti-virus program
- delete and install a newly downloaded client (kindly make sure that you do not have any game modifications installed in your computer and also deleted the remaining Dragon Nest folder after uninstalling the client.)

Now please know, I did not do this. All I did was wait for them to update Dragon Nest for me. Like I said, I'm not a computer expert. But IF YOU ARE here is the steps!

I'm not sure if the servers is closed, or under maintence or something?

Same here since May 4th. I think many people are having some kind of log-in or connection problems now. The thing is that, even though Eyedentity said that they are aware of current situation and looking for the solution, but I'm assuming that it'll take much longer since it is Korean holiday and they also have a big election day coming soon. Guess we'll just have to wait another maintenance or the next update... D:

Hey TriShine, sorry to ask but have you tried to run DN today at May 10th? The website said that they had finished the maintenance today, but the same problem happens for me... Should I try to reinstall now or wait for another UPDATE not just a maintenance and see how it goes? I might reinstall if this doesn't work then, even after the update.

(I just sent Eyedentity a 1:1 email with this issue; and if it still doesn't work, I'm gonna sent them email written in Korean so that they finally can understand what's really happening. I've been just waiting because I know that they had Korean golden holidays and a very important election day in the past week, but I'm starting to feel upset if they don't do their job because it's a different story in North America.)

Dang, I was hopping for making another chronicle character if Black Mara comes out in this month... D:

I did the same thing. I sent them a ticket to see the problem. This week, I've been scraming around to find help. I really did. But no all I see is Dragon Nest SEA version to fix this, and there's no NA nor steam version to fix it.

Some say you have to turn off your antivirus or check if your firewall is blocking it. Try that. I would do it, but I feel uncomfortable leaving my two protective program off since I don't want another virus roaming around in my new laptop. Seriously, DN can run if two programs are running as well.

So, yeah and I know about the Election Day. Since we sent the tickets, they'll respond later on, hopefully soon.

Ugh, I've been dying to play Dragon Nest so so much. I downloaded the SEA for the first time, but it was just horribly laggy that I uninstalled it.

I don't know how to post topics onto the forum of DN so I just keep looking around.

Okay, I tried 2 new methods and somehow they both worked...
1. I tried to run DN in my laptop (Steam launcher) instead of my desktop, and it somehow worked.
2. I also tried to run DN in a separate folder like my external HDD (in desktop) and it also worked. (I just copied DN folder into external HDD and used DN launcher, instead of Steam.)

So I guess this is a Steam or wireless router problem? (Firewall or antivirus programs don't seem to be mattered.) Thankfully I can connect to DN somehow but I really have no idea why the problem occured.
But still, I'm not a computer geek, but I'll try to help you as I can.

Hi, I'm experiencing this issue as well. When I connect to the world and try to create a character, there's still a blank screen and when I move my mouse around, there is a delay which thus creates a mess of "rotate your character" all over the screen. I used to play this on Nexon with no problem, but now I'm having some problems now.

Since I'm not an expert with computers, I found myself to give up playing this and decided to play Dragon Nes SEA instead. I don't know what's up.

I even sent a ticket, but NO REPLY from them so I'm just done.

And I don't know about yours, your problem might be different. I'm stuck on the title screen while you can still go into the server. I believe your problem might be a bug. I could be wrong.

Wish I could help you guys, just letting you know that I highly doubt it's a Steam version issue since me and my friends can play Dragon Nest on Steam just fine.

It's alright. I looked around for more help, some say it's some kind of router wireless thing? My laptop is fine and it ran DN just fine when I first downloaded this.

honestly I feel like it's one of the missions fault that I played because Saint Haven's castle lags af when I go inside for my mission to complete.

Have you finished "The Bitter End" mission?

im having this issue except whenever i try to connect i get an error report and it crashes the game

Yea I have this problem as well. When I open up DN it goes to the connect screen it's a black screen. When I click connect, it says the error box thingy with the "Send" or "Don't Send' report and closes me out when I click either. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing many times......

I just wanna play some Dragon Nest. Black Mara is out and I only just started her when this issue came up. How can I get her to 93 to get the horse mount when this is going on? ._.

Please Help

Well I've tried the unistalling, and the waiting a few minutes, and the restarting computer, and the runing as admin, and all that.

It still didn't work. Same black screen. Same "send or don't send" error thing that closes it out.

Seriously what the what......I just wanna play some dragon nest....I can taste the maxed Black Mara T_T

I'm sorry I wish I had more knowledge Q3Q what I would do is wait for a few weeks. Black Mara event won't go anywhere yet since Dragon Nest takes FOREVER to update new stuff
