1. Brenda was dining in the living room with a baby monitor.
2. The planter had fallen on the floor before the safe was opened.
From these two points, I thought that Brenda took the gun out of the safe after Clyde moved to the office room. In this case, the relative positions of the two in the office room would be Clyde at the back of the room and Brenda near the entrance.
but this answer is wrong. where I might be going wrong?...
Unmarked spoilers for the game in here, but this guide attempts to explain the logic I see for each set of questions provided. There is a section that points to the evidence I used before I explain the logic I came up with for each.

I couldn't even figure out the TUTORIAL. There was literally not enough clues to figure out the 2 answers. Who are they expecting to enjoy this? On paper this game sounds very fun, but the execution of it, i feel, is lacking.
i may not be in the right place to be doing this.... BUT.... just finish the cases. get an ace.... i already left a review which was STELLAR. this game is is less of game, more like real life. use logic, dont go for c's to move on. SOLVE THE CASE PERFECTLY. no idea how to edit my already perfect review on steam but i would edit it for... more perfecter??? today is my my anniversary with my wife, and this game is our ♥♥♥♥. getting all aces... just the gift that keeps on giving. keep it up eq, and if we can...
Okay so I got everything right but the killer and I am stumped.
I figured that Andrew was upset because he was into Kristy and thought Brian had assaulted her. Makes perfect sense, right?
But that isn't right and I realize that if Andrew arrived with Lisa he can't steal the backup key to get into Brian's after he locks himself in.
So that leaves Grace or Jack but..I can't find anything that would even hint as to WHY either one of them would do it.
From 401 had really obvious motive and story behind it...
I have no clue about who is dead in the Hughes Manor Feud?
This level makes absolutely no sense to me, and makes me feel like I'm missing an entire room of evidence. I found the phones, and vague messages. I figured out that Roman is absolutely the favorite. But - no clue on who killed who....
Just going to start tracking any bugs I find here:
1. In the trial, the counterfeiter article in the newspaper says "The Mockingbird has been forging bills that have been forging bills that have been popping up"
2. The "How To Play" screen shows controller controls even if you have been using M&KB
3. Should be able to skip the intro (I picked the option to re-watch it since the phrasing was unclear if it was re-watching or something new)
4. Should indicate that you can examine items with LMB more clear...
The game was running perfectly fine for me as I was going through the tutorial case until I submitted my answers for the exam questions. After typing out the names and clicking submit, the screen fades to black. The screen stays black but the reticle is still there and I can still have the option to use the LMB if I happen to hover over it....
My first run through I got 3 out of 5 correct. But I never saw anything that would indicate that Jenny was the killer. Also, there was a clue that Ed sat in seat two but that was wrong.
Where were the clues?
Some of the "scenes" are really amazing and satisfying to piece together, but others require way too many leaps of faith that really took me out of the experience. I don't think it was a problem of difficulty, more so it was hard to define any clear motive based on the environmental storytelling. I would say I personally recommend Painscreek Killings over this game for a good mystery that has more fun twists. This is very much a different game for better or worse. I just wish all of the mysteries were like "Missing", which was the first I played after the tutorial crime. Unfortunately, It felt as though the great story of the first experience went downhill as I got further in the experience, due to the logical leaps.
