2. The game is based on the first 5 of the 18 comics
Even if they close the plot of the new one the same way, I hope they rework the ending to *feel* like an ending. It deserved that much.
Getting a continuation would be great, but all things being equal, they might as well just release the original on steam and make part 2 instead of doing this.
I'm pretty sure it will be closer to the game. It's pretty much a straight up copy from the original. They are even using the same dialogue from the original game.
There is a *lot* you can do in editing just by recutting the same content.

Again, it was just my theory, I don't know about the comics. :-)
