This game seems to be going for something atmospheric, whatever that may be. It'd be a good idea to take notes from the Soulsborne games in how well they show, rather than tell the player about the world.
The Black Company is a book series that also does this exceptionally well, but in book format. So you may enjoy some of that.

I'm always excited for mmos that are off the beaten path like this.

Where would you recommend watching A Midsummer Night's Dream (the 1959 film)?

Not sure. All Trnka movies were shown in Stockholm a while ago, thats where the concept art team saw the movies, but I believe you can track down dvds to order. Its worth it! Or you can do what I did and travel to Prague with an empty suitcase and get stuff directly from the source. :)

Thanks for the response. My father lives in a village near Prague. When travel is possible again, I'll try and do what you suggest.

Very excited for the release of this game. It seems so peaceful, curious, and intimate.

The more I read about the game and the process behind it, the more I'm certain that I will love it. I'm so glad to see Tove Jansson on the list along with Ursula K. Le Guin!

Thank you for showing us a bit of what helped you guys craft this beautiful piece of art! It's very insightful specially when, as an artist, I'm forever inspired by Might And Delight's works! Good luck with the production of the game. <3 Hope to hear more from you soon.
