Classic Bethesda :D Just came back to the game and realized I still needed to do the whole "set monitor refresh rate to 60hz, modify an ini file to disable vSync, use Nvidia Control Panel to force vSync" to get rid of odd stutters when turning. Ah, never change.

had a similar problem had to lower some settings to run smoothly this game which graphic is no better then fo4 which was way better optimized

well thats not the case because it runs bad compared to new games, no hate to fallout its my favorite game tho just bad optimized i guess my i7 13700k and 3060 12 gb is enough for 4 year old game

Btw, this is not a my hardware can not run the game post, its a why the fck do we still need to fix the game ourselfs with ini tweaks in 2024 post

modern gaming in a nutshell. that's optimization in general is garbage on release for Triple A games.

What did you change in which .ini files? I haven't edited them an the game runs fine in 4K.

Well the game is essentially Fo4 with a new better looking dress and some online functionality glued and taped onto the back. Makes sense it will be basically the same as Fo4 in terms of the way it works and is presented.

Not defending it as many things like VSync and others are badly needed to be an option in the game menu and not hidden in an ini file. I am just saying this is Bethesda and clinging to their ancient engine way past its sell by date is what they do. So you should not be surprised.
