A fan-based visual novel type, not really a RPG game.
Very interesting narratives and good graphics. Buy for collection when in discount.

This game is relatively strong in the visual novel sections of story I've seen, using a strong existing cast of characters and portraying them in a way that compliments the source material. Being a booba game, the 3D versions of the shipgirls are modelled in a way that pleases my monke brain, sadly though that's where my praise ends.

Unfortunately, this game completely fails in any gameplay sense, with little depth to battles because of a simple control scheme and only gear and shipgirls to select in order to variate your experience at all resulting in the battles being reduced to a grindy chore between the thirty minutes to an hour mark of gametime.

I hoped the game would contain more on release but it seems as it's found it's final resting place for updates, It's ultimately nice fan-service for anyone who's played the mobile gacha game but you really are better off playing the mobile game if you want the shipgirls and the story. I wouldn't recommend it for it's current price-tag if you're expecting a engaging game but has plenty of content for someone who likes the original game to pick up
