Out of Video Memory [Solved]

When i try to land of the surface in online mode, i have warning about "Out of Video Memory. Try..." and game back to desktop.
Lol? I have Red Devil RX 6700xt with 12gb VRAM. I think is a bug, because if i play on my Outpost, all be ok.

I've seen someone else with this problem a few days ago. The dev never helped them out or fixed the issue.

I've also had that a few times in offline mode. Basically get as far as a few seconds before getting into resuming my prospect (boots on the ground and all that) and it gets an out of video memory error. I've also got 12gb video memory and 32gb PC memory.

Earlier tonight when I tried to log back into my prospect I got a BSOD that said "video memory management internal" and forced me to reboot. After the reboot it loaded in fine. Using a Nvidia GTX 1070 with 8gb VRAM and 32 GB ram. Temps never spiked so it wasn't that.

Thanks guys for reply, now i know its not only my problem. Devs should be knows about this bug, and fixed that fast. I hope.

I have another question for you. What is your max Hotspot Temp on Ultra settings, because i worry about my GPU, becouse my Hotspot temps hits 85-95 celcius degress.

I have mine set to go full fan at 80, and it never creeps above it.

your junction limit aka Hot Spot is 110c. you're fine.

Same here... Out of my 24Gb memory... Cant play!

In my case helps changes dx12 to dx11 in Steam Launcher. I think we must have min. 32gb ram to play on dx12, becaue i have 16gb and when i start game and i look on fps monitor, ram is almost full when prospect is near to finish loading, and game crash with "Out of memory" issue. I talk about RAM, not VRAM (video RAM).

Check other programs that use the GPU.
Had a bunch of youtube videos running in Firefox, had to shut down FF to play icarus so the game wouldn't freak out.

Maybe try reinstalling GPU drivers? 12GB VRAM is plenty.

BSODs in modern Windows are almost always driver or hardware issues these days.

If that doesn't work here's some other stuff to try:

Limit GPU power to 95 or 90% in MSI afterburner. Load up in Dx11. Try setting textures down one level.

i get what error if chome/discord/utorrent run.
IF chome run - in 9/10 pick, game crush on landing. In 1/10 chrome die.
IF Discord/utorrent - crush can be after 3-4 hour after strart.

No, "Pagefile in win10 is better handled by the OS" is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mangament, i handle it manually and make 50gb space for it, and any problems has gone. Now i can play on Dx12 and with global illumination in 60fps :D

I turned off DLSS and that fixed it for me.
