Confirmed fixed in BW2.
Much improved. We fixed the things we know about, with one or two "ahhhh" bugs that we have been unable to reproduce - but think are still out there.
A huge amount of optimization and fixes for graphics and optimization are in, and this will continue for a long time. Every change we make is risky, so much of this is incremental. Depending on the GPU you have, you might experience major (hopefully good) differences from BW1.
As above, basic guns confirmed for BW2, assuming that there is no catastophie discovered with them between now and BW2 beginning!
maybe you wanna make a sticky thread to explain a weekend in general before they start, that would really be great. like on your teams side, what your focus is for that weekend, what you want to test or what you want us to focus on or give feedback to (for example when you made a change to something or implemented a new feature or mechanic). and on our side what we can expect to see, something about the area we play in, in this case something about the new storms maybe, and since it kinda is like a patch for us maybe add something like patch notes so we know what item or feature got added and what got fixed and what is a known not yet fixed bug you are still working on. and dont forget to state that this phase of the beta is not the actual gameplay loop so people dont get confused again. ^^
threads like that would really add to the feeling of devs trying to better communicat plans and actions to the community and avoid confusion ;)
Beta weekends run every 2 weeks starting at 8PM EST Friday night and running until 1AM EST Monday morning (convert to your own timezone as you need!).
I hope you get a chance to check it out, but I understand if you don't get much time. The devs have said they need this time window so they can get concentrated feedback then focus on fixing problems rather than worrying about supporting the live game.
Also it prevents any beta burnout that we might self-inflict.
