Are mods broken?
Hey all. Mods work well in Warhammer 1 and 2. But for some reason, none of them work for Warhammer 3? Maybe I could actually have fun in siege battles again like I could in War 1 and 2.

Unrelated, why are defensive siege battles so awful? In Warhammer 1 and 2 they worked really well, and now it's absolutely impossible to defend anything. And the siege points for barricades and extra towers are a joke; especially in a walled city where you're supposed to have concentric layers of defense...supposedly? :ulthwe: Thanks in advance.

Check your in game mod manager. It might be that you don't have the mods activated. After you download the mods you still need to activate. Otherwise as stated before, look at each mods page and make sure that the mod is still updated and active. If it is then a simple click on the unsubscribe/subscribe button will re-download the mod.

Ask the mod maker.

All of the mods I use work just fine. Even most of the outdated ones. If you are having issues check the mods page. Sometimes after a game update you need to reinstall the mod to get it working.

Hmmm, okay... =/ I mean, I subscribed to like 9 mods, like decreased range for towers, dwarfen cavalry, etc., and while they worked with War 1 and 2, none of them worked for War 3. War 1 and 2 always had a popup before I started the game, like "You're about to play the game with these mods, fyi." Nothing like that pops up for me with War 3.

Are you trying to use mods from TW1 or TW2 on Tw3?

Some mods dont work with the in game mod manager, tho its not very many. Look into some of the mod manager alternatives and see if those can make your mods work

I'm a flipping idiot; that was it. I forgot to ACTIVATE them in the Mod Manager. 'forehead-slap!' Thank you!
