chests

I just started my first game and all the chests I have opened have been empty (A sign even said one had a short sword but it was empty). Is this normal?

No that isn't normal. There should be items in alot of chests. Could you post a screen shot of what it looks like when you try to open that chest with the short sword? There could be something weird going on like maybe the item icons aren't showing up or something. Also what OS are you using because it could be an OS specific thing.

The chests are just goofy. The first one with the short sword is always empty. The chest for the thief and wizard always show empty when opened but when I press "loot all" items are transferred to my inventory. The fighter chest are "hit and miss". The axe (chest appears empty) does transfer, the arming sword (once again chest shows empty) transferred once but not another time and the third chest shows empty and nothing transfers.

I am using windows 10.

I don't' know how to post a screenshot on this forum post. When I try to copy and paste it does not paste the screenshot.

One thing I did notice upon looking at the screenshot is that at the upper left-hand side of the screen it shows "Level ** Full". Everything else on the screen seems normal.

I suppose I could reinstall the program if you thought it would help.

Yeah you could try reinstalling to see if that helps. Also you could send the screenshot to my email at [e-mail] if you want.

And also does the item only not show up in the chest but shows up in the inventory?

Also when you hit I then your inventory should show up. Do Items show up in your inventory?

I think it is going to be ok. The problems only happened in the "tutorial area". When I entered into the portal and onto the "real" world the chests operated properly. I do have a question. If your inventory is getting full how do you drop a item?

Good! I’m glad that the chests are working in the main area. Right now you can press P to putdown/pickup an item on the ground. Also you can leave items in a chest or carcass too.

In the future I want to create a way to destroy items if you don’t want them anymore, but the game doesn't have that yet.
