Couldn't really tell you how I did it as I don't recall, but I guess just a really good solid item combo and probably an emperor card.
I don't, the womb doesn't have bs rooms that you cannot avoid damage.
Especially if you start with the DLC, you get the swastika room with a bunch of greed heads and fat red flies.
Or a similar room with very limited space to move, which has the fat guys who shoot their little chub heads at you.
I can't recall a single room in the womb that was -impossible- to avoid damage, since there are no pitfalls and you can freely roam in most of them.
^ all things considered you don't have flight of course.
I agree, I feel that for some reason that the depths and especially necropolis enemies have much more difficult attack patterns in places where there is very little space. Espescially the keepers and those damn heart + mask.
