my achivemnets refuse to unlock

none of my achivements unlock though i know ive gotten the qualfications to get alot of them

Did you try verifying the game's cache?

They never unlock immediately for me, I have to relaunch the game before they will pop.

And i need to start the game out of the steam library to get my achivements.

ive played this game out of my steam library for about 29 hours now worth of gametime, ive unlocked all character types, gotten most of the items, and beat most of the boss typs

yes i am running it on the mac half of my mac (got it dual booted) but no other game i have has that issue on that side

well at least i do have a windows otpins for if i ever feel like doing achivement hunting, too bad ill have to do everything over
