that is a weird issue. Unfortunately I have never heard of this happening to anyone else.
Do you happen to have (or recently had) more than one display attached? One theory I could think of is, that the game is displayed on another display, that is currently switched off or not even attached. If this is the case, selecting the game in the task bar, then holding Windows-key and pressing left or right cursor key a few times should bring back the game to the current display.
