I thought NASCAR is not so difficult to drive...
I play with Controller and i can't beat the practice time in Career mode. I'm always 2 seconds too slow.

Can anybody axplain me how to drive a NASCAR? What do i wrong? I set difficulty to casual. thanks for help.

Your using a stick with 30 degrees of rotation.(at best)
Get a wheel with 900+ degrees rotation and pedals and you'll see a huge difference in any racing sim.
You can pick-up a used Logitech wheel for under $100 or a new Thrustmaster T150 w/ pedals for $150.

Also, career mode starts you out in a really slow car and you have to race several races, build up the car.. etc.. it's kind of silly if you ask me.

Started quick race in Atlanta with Kyle Busch and still went last. Practice time i was every round 1 second too slow.

I think i'm driving wrong into corners. Can't figure out the trick.

Slowly roll off the throttle entering a corner, try to cut the corner straight, smoothly apply throttle coming out of the corner. You will get good laps when you feel like you're driving a little slower. You can just mash the throttle into/out of the turns. Don't brake while in a turn.. to get the car to turn better on worn tires, back off the throttle for just an instant during the turn and the car will settle into the turn better... just some things I hope help.

thank you very much this was the information i was looking for. Will try out next time, like the game but driving seems difficult for me, i pushed too much into corners!

sorry it's my first NASCAR game.:-)

Go to the track your getting beat in quick race & setup the car. If in dought just change the 4th gear & the overall gear ratio to make your car faster then add some camber. save the setup then go back into career mode & hopefully your saved setup will be applied to that track
