Menu button and some questions.
Quick question, is there a menu button somewhere? I press esc, nothing happened.

Unless I've miss it...

no worries at all. Enter for pause is oddball, but it felt most natural since esc is used to exit menus

It'd be way better to bind the menu button to ESC and Q key for the back button.

Understandable. Kay hated the decision too. Maybe I'm crazy but I swear i remember older PC games using enter for pause lol. If we are able to make key remapping a thing in the future, we will patch it in. no promises, but hopefully it's not too much of a hassle for everyone lol.

That's because old games used to have the movement binded to the arrow keys instead of WASD so it made sense to have the menu key as ENTER or Numpad 0.
Anyways, custom bindings would be great. Because the "CAPS key" to toggle sprint/walk is also weird to me. Something like Left ALT would've been better.

I'm not sure there is a way to do that unfortunately as it is a script tied into our camera. I wouldn't do too much poking around unless you really know what your doing, but If people find ways to mod the game, I hope they have fun doing it! I just can't help at all if everything breaks haha.

The naked guy that chases you in the hall way on the 2nd floor? or the neaked guy in the end room on the 3rd floor?

2nd floor guy CAN kill you

3rd floor guy cannot, but his lore should kind of explain why

Okay I see, cause I played the demo before and there is no film grain and kinda made it better for me so I wonder why this change?

Anyway as for the ghost on the 2nd floor guy, he didn't kill me, he just run to me and talk like a unknown language and then buzz off so I'm thinking he's just passing through... I hadn't meet the 3rd floor ghost yet besides that little girl.

what resolution settings are you using? lower resolutions seem to be making the film grain heavier. We added it for stylistic reasons, to add to the darkness and atmosphere, i knew it might divide people since a lot of people really hate it, but i felt like ti was a good choice visually.

The 2nd floor ghost steals items from your inventory, if you have no jade bangles and don't have the item he is intending to steal he kills you.

Well, the locked resolution bug definitely doesn't help in this case.
I understand that developers add certain visual elements for stylistic or immersion purpose but I think things like Film Grain, Motion Blur, etc. should be an optional thing that you can toggle in the settings because most gamers don't enjoy it.

Unfortunately it's not a realistic fix anytime soon, but maybe someday down the line we can make it happen!
