Hi Guys,

I'm stuck at the initial "Click Anywhere" Screen and can't get passed it. I deleted all of my local data and re-installed the game but to no effect. Any Ideas?

Have you tried clicking anywhere? Sorry...bad joke. :) Let me hit up someone who'll know and then I'll get back to you with suggestions and/or the fix!
Haha, you know what? I didn't try that! :P. Yeah tried clicking with both USB mouse and touchpad on mouse.

I'm connected to Steam and online when I launch the game.

Okay, the next thing that we need to do is to double check how your computer compares to the system requirements of the game. To do that we'll need a few pieces of key information pulled from a Direct X Diagnostic Report of your computer. Simply respond in this thread with the information for the System Tab, Display Tab and Drivers Heading and we'll go from there. You may already know all about DxDiag reports, but if not, don't worry, I've included explicit instructions below:

To gather a DXDIAG on your computer, please follow these steps:

1. Press and hold the Windows key and the letter R on your keyboard
2. You will see a Run box in the lower-left corner of your screen
3. Type dxdiag in the text field
4. Click OK
5. If your computer has a 64-bit version of Windows, click the button Run 64-bit DXDIAG
6. If your computer has a 32-bit version of Windows, that button will not be available.

64-bit Users will notice the "Run 64-bit DxDiag" button in the bottom-left next to "Help" and should click it once it becomes available. 32-bit Users will not have this as a visible option.

Once you have an open DXDIAG report, there are several pieces of information that are especially helpful in pin-pointing the cause of game performance issues:

The main page of the DXDIAG is the System tab. On the System tab, make a note of what is written next to Operating System, Processor, and Memory. Those three pieces of information are the key components of the System tab.

Next, click on the Display tab. On the Display tab, please note the information written next to the word Name. Finally, on the right-hand side of the Display tab is a Drivers heading. Please note what is written next to the word Date.


SIDENOTE: If you have any trouble reading the DXDIAG file yourself, just save all the DXDIAG info as a text file and then let me know that you'll need to email me a text file instead.

Here's how to save as a text file:

7. Click the Save All Information button, found on the bottom of the DXDIAG report
8. Save this text file to your Desktop for easy access.

For the Display section, it's worth noting that I have both the inbuilt Intel GPU (mentioned above) and a dedicated NVidia GEFORCE GT635m 2GB, driver version: 314.22. The system uses NVIDIA Optimus to chose which GPU is best for any operation, although I can and do override the settings.

Anything else give me a shout.

We've been working hard behind the scenes to reproduce your issue & come up with a fix. We haven't been able to reproduce it so far but we do have some suggestions:

We suggest an upgrading to the latest GPU and Optimus drivers:

GPU Drivers:
Version: 331.65 - WHQL

Optimus:
Version: 189.42


If this does not fix the issue, then we would suggest trying one of the following:

1-Force the game to boot with the GeForce GT635m by selecting it in the Nvidia Control Panel.

2-Go into the Device Manager and disabling the Intel graphics chip

3-Disable the Intel graphics chip from the system Bios

4-If there is a config file that can be changed to use the proper GPU, then that could be an option.

Please give these suggestions a try and let me know if any of them clear up the issue!

It'll be tomorrow now but I will try updating. I wonder why it hasn't automatically?...

I've forced it to boot using the NVIDIA control panel by setting it has the default device but also by right clicking on the .exe file and clicking; run using ---> high-performance graphic processor. I'll try disabling it tomorrow.

yeh unfortunately i have the same problem :< i cant ever play the game, everytime it starts when i move my mouse it freezes, my system is Toshiba Qosmio x505 gaming laptop core i7

it seems that the problem occurs when i actualy move the mouse itself, i tried not moving the mouse and i was actualy able to go deep into the game/options..etc and queue..etc. i think it could be either something with the programming of the mouse cursor from desktop/game thingy. or the game application needs to identify the mouse as a legitimate input device instead of expecting an xbox/ps3 controller, - P.S. my mouse is Razer Naga (got 17 buttons)

Hi subkruller - I'm sorry you've run into this same glitch! We are still working this issue actively & testing fixes in QA. In the mean time, have you tried either of the two suggestions I listed above? If so, please let me know the outcome so that I can report that back to the team. If not, please try them and let me know if it resolves the issue.
