Right click RetroArch in your library, go to properties, go to the DLC tab and check all the boxes you wish to download. If RetroArch was open, restart it.
The rest of the assets, aside from thumbnails, (currently not provided) are automatically included within the main RetroArch install.

I'm trying to add more cores like PSP, PS2, etc.
And still can't make PSX work (I have the bios).
Same for me, unfortunately.
I am not one to just say "same" and hope for the best, so I'll contribute by saying that I am using the Linux release of RA. I also don't have a DLC tab. I wonder if this is a factor?
EDIT: Looking at the DLC page on the Steam store, it appears all the DLC is for Windows only. Perhaps Linux builds could be uploaded too?
