the game is not responding, when i open the game some window appear but not respond. i tried XP compatibility an ddoesn't work. what happen?

match 2, 3 times. i've matched the first, but there simply isn't another pair, i've clicked every combination possible, unless i'm missing something, i don't see how it can be solved.

I have everything I need, I made all the connections (35/35) and nothing happens. When I click on the hints nothing happens. I read about restarting the "level" but I don't see that anywhere. :-)

After trying everything tanidar suggested with physx etc I turned on my computer and couldnt figure out why but the games workes but only if i launched from their actual icons and not steam. Therefore steam overlay and its perks couldnt be applied. Last night knowing jack the ripper wasnt working i launched it again and it worked! Still with no idea why. some puzzles were frustrating, like the one with the finding of the coat of arms 3x in the book, it was a bit of a challenge, but i finished it in a little over 4 hrs, it was good, tho id only reccomend this to ppl who like real puzzle games that are not stacking games, or jugsaw puzzles....
