So, its just an empty world?
I get that exploring can be fun and all but as it stands there's no story or goal besides walk around. I can hit things all day and watch numbers go up but without a goal a lot of people are just gonna get burned by this. Maybe wait til you have at least the first act done for a taste of what the game is gonna feel like? Game play without any substance is meaningless.

inb4 a defense squad comes out of nowhere to say how its fun to run around and pretend there's a story.

I understand your perspective, and I will be completely fine if some people will hold off the purchase until main storyline is in the game.
Some people like exploring a world and doing side quests, some people will want to help me with testing the game, that who EA is for.

Well, at least there's side quests. Still, I feel like you're over estimating how well people will take to this. Testing is one thing but maybe consider a closed beta (alpha?). If random people spend their money on this they're going to expect a cohesive experience not just a tech demo. Early access has sort of lost its meaning over the years. More and more games are getting sold earlier in development than they should. I understand its early, but sometimes it's too early. Using that defensively isn't going to last too long and people are going to get impatient.

I think the game has enough content at this stage, there are about 20 quests with different outcomes, 3 dungeons, house building and 2 additional game modes - dungeon crawler with random generation and wave-based survival. All of this can be replayed with different character builds (although I get this might not be for everyone)
If I am wrong, people will tell me I'm sure, and I will take this properly and fix the game
i think this looks intresting i will buy it to suport you oleg

The problem here is that people do not care and arent afraid to doom a game with a "mixed" review on steam

Sounds like enough to keep me entertained for a while. I'll buy it now and support the devs to get an even better game later. EA gets a lot of sh*t and people do get screwed sometimes but I've gotten a ton of mileage out of some EA games. We are literally gambling with our money on EAs now and this one looks like a winner to me.

Worth the price of admission for me.

I've only stumbled upon this like two days ago, just judging by the screenshots it looks like there's a bit to test and play. Looking forward downloading it tomorrow.

Edit : Damn it's only going to be $12? Why complain, we spend that much on lunch nowadays?

AS usual, people always try to tell the Devs how to develop and release their game. I will buy it and support the Devs. I also do not mind buying the game and letting it set and cook for a bit :)

do not hesitate to buy it. all recipes are there to get a very good and innovative game during the time.
sooo good to have something fresh to eat!

you have all my support Oleg

Hmm I understand the dev thought process.. If all goes well the game will be really promising, but as i always say Devs are the developer of the game we are just consumers.. Some of us might know about how much work goes into developing a game while the rest don't so like always I think the Devs will take what we say with a grain of salt and make the right choice.. I will look at the game and see how it plays out. Will there be any co-op options in the near future?
what i like is quests with different outcomes, dungeons, kill boss, and farm loot i don't care about stories in this games . Oleg :good: is a buy for me

PINE is a great game for the dev to look at as it's another indie studio but they did world building fantastic, I'm crossing my fingers the questing isn't like a MMO where its boring fetch quest, I would love this game to be a living breathing sandbox game that is just alive.

Yeah there is no main storyline yet, but I still bought the game to support the
devs and help find any bugs so they can be fixed.

There is still enough stuff in here to keep me pretty entertained for a good while.

Also I can't wait till the main story is added.

I get it, but do you? I know this is EA. I've restarted 3x already, 2x for getting stuck in terrain with no way out. and 1 x for dying and losing inventory. Frustrated? A bit. Enough to give a game clearly labeled as EA a negative review? Of course not, I'm not crazy. I signed up for this. Besides that, I'm looking over the overall game as a whole, what it offers, what it's lacking, and of course finding the bugs and issues the game needs improvements on.

If you're not able to do the above? Don't buy an EA game. That's it. The whole argument about "I paid for it so I get to complain or I'm a consumer " blah blah is just idiotic. Just uninstall and ask for a refund. Leave the EA games to those willing to support indie devs and honestly willing to help squash bugs and help the game in development.
