This is an episodic game so the average run time is around 80 mins, especially on ep 1. Make sure you take some time to explore the island.

Honestly, for me it was extremely short... like brutally short... I'd say maybe 30 minutes if you are really taking your time. It took me 20 minutes... and I didnt want to pay for more after that. The game should be 10 dollars for all 3 chapters...

I've wishlisted it. I'll definitely give this a play. Just a cautionary note though: at this price I'd refund if there is less than an hour of content. I tend to work on a rule of £5 per hour as reasonable.

I wonder if it might be more sensible to release Episode 1 and 2 together if it takes it over 2 hours. That way you won't get as many refunds.

Don't you just love it devs when somebody thinks they know better than you do you must adhere to what THEY think is reasonable? Don't bother engaging with them. I'm buying ep 2 this weekend and I'm looking forward to getting into it too.

What about my previous quote is anything other than a polite suggestion? When did I demand adherence? When did I suggest that I know best? You seem to have read what I posted and then decided I had posted something entirely different.

I have as much right to an opinion as you, or anyone else in the human race. What's more, I am presenting it politely and respectfully. You are not. Go away troll.

Its perfectly fine if someone has a $ per hour benchmark they want to spend. Weird comment considering it was pretty polite. That said, this game can easily be over an hour if you want to enjoy it and explore or it can be half that if you just want to speed run it. So...its kind of up to the player to soak it up and get the most out of it. I typically get hundreds of hours in games that have 50-60 and almost never finish them but still got my moneys worth.

There is also much room to add to and enhance it as well so im ok supporting well done games even if short. Its the crappy looking ones that are annoying but this looks nice for sure. I personally prefer the comic book and cartoonish looking ones. If i wanted reality id go outside.

But there is a ton of potential and i hope this gets love for a while from the Devs. Just little tweaks or mini games or lore or expanded collectibles or exploration etc in the home base part is worth the price itself if they do.

Thanks. That's really useful. Not got round to playing it yet. Too many good VR games around at the moment. Definitely will though.

Thanks for this feedback and also thank you for the wonderful review. Stonepunk has tried to do something very different, and it's clear you appreciate that. We look forward to your review of episode 2 (out now) and episode 3 coming soon!
