Do gem component skills or resonance increase bomb damage? If not, is there anything other than demolition that increases bomb damage?

I always find myself referencing the GemCraft series as THE bar when it comes to long-term play/fun and superb meta progression. I was wondering if there was any rumblings/news in regards to new titles in the series?

A proper question: once you are in extreme end-game, is it ever an option to just leave the game running in the background while you do something else? I only started bothering with EEG strats after grinding up to 5,5k+ lvl. with regular towers (and noob-ish skill distribution), after which I think I made a jump to 8,427 in just 5 games. I played the game on my desktop and it worked fine, now I'm away and installed it on my laptop but it doesn't want to start https://prnt.sc/CHR3xQADj8jQ Tried disabling windows defender, run as administrator, compatibility settings but nothing worked. I'm pretty sure the game CAN read the files because when cloud save from desktop synced it launched in window but after disabling cloud save and deleting the folder in AppData/Roaming manually it launched in full screen, so it knows the difference. Update march 13th 2021: game has been patched and made easier, posts below are partly outdated. Ello, just curious how far you people got so far? I'm kinda stuck with the fields N1, O1 and Z4 for the moment. Everything else is fully unlocked with a total of 851 skill points. But these three levels suddenly drastically increase in difficulty (first wave HP on N1 and O1 is 149 while the Z tile is only around 77-112 for example, quite the jump) . Gonna try fiddling with different upgrade paths later today....
