why can not you as a company publish your NEWS in German language . you offer the game in different languages but does not manage to publish your news in the language as steam is opened . any other game manufacturer can do that or any fan created mod can do that too , but you seem to be too beautiful .

I can understand frustration however, if I went to a German, or French, or Swedish, or Nigerian game companies website, I would not expect things to be in English. VALVE, is headquartered in Bellevue, WA; USA. I anticipate then, the VAST majority of content on the site, is going to be in English. Even though I often see games come up in my cue, where they say English language not supported. But I would not get super pissed, if that German site didnt offer everything in English.

You seem to know English just fine, just read it in English.

I'll never understand the German obsession with having everything in their language. Here in the Netherlands we wouldn't even want that, we are fine with English and watching any movie or playing any game in the original language.

Might need subtitles at most if the original language is neither English or Dutch.

I can use well DeepL pro yes that is the only thing I can and that is very time consuming, but that I know good English I am miles away. Nice that it is different with you, but do not think that I am an isolated case, the insane opinion you have to know English and ready is primitive and unimaginative, I'm sorry, I do not need and do not want to discuss further, that brings nothing at all.

I'd sooner call it primitive to never bother learning other languages. Like how German tourists never seem to bother learning Dutch when visiting here and always just expecting us to speak German.
A lot of us do, it's quite commonly taught in school. After Dutch and English, it's quite commonly taught here, same for French.

I mean, we're French but we don't have our news in French either. Nor in Chinese, Russian, Portuguese which are also supported in-game.

It's just not viable at our size and with how often we communicate, we don't have in-house translators.

Everyone outside of your "special" country/countries had to learn english to take in this information. We dont complain and we dont see it as a hassle, its rather convenient tbh to be able to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ communicate.
