If you get really stuck look up a video or a guide.
As to getting them in the first place? You need to back stab Songbird, make sure you get that knife really deep in there. Once you are getting towards the end of that questline you will find yourself in the area containing the parts needed for the Canto Mk6 and Erebus.
You can't miss it, that first step is a doozy followed by one hell of a drop
Finally, it's worth noting that you can't have both. Each of them require two "parts" and they both need the same second bit, of which you can only ever get the one of.
So make sure to know which one you want more in advance and save the other for another run.

After defeating the Robot, an item yeeted itself in a pile of rubble, where i couldnt reach it, when i played the DLC.
