Dogtown car? (and Netwatch hitsquad)
When you first get to Dogtown, a certain fixer sends you a message with a photo of a car and tells you that it's yours (or something to that effect), but I've never actually managed to find it in any of my games. As far as I can tell, there's no objective you can select to get a marker or such (and in the photo the car is just in the middle of a road, clearly driving, so that gives no hints either).

It hasn't been an issue because I tend to have something better at that point already, but I've been vaguely wondering about it for a long time, so maybe it's time to figure out where it is.

Also, if you resolve a certain gig in a certain way, you get told that a Netwatch hitsquad is after you, but I think they must be on vacation as it's been over two ingame weeks since I got the message and there's been no sign of them. I would have expected a bit more urgency on the part of Netwatch since the point was to keep me from telling other people about things.

One day when I left the Dogtown apartment, there was a huge battle right outside. I just nuked a couple of people who were shooting at me and left the others to fight it out between themselves, but now I'm wondering if that could have been the Netwatch squad tangling with Barghest (there was no red smoke, so I don't think it was one of the air drop battles).
Don't know if they'd even show in Dogtown (I think the gig is from vanilla) or whether they'd get into a fight with other factions, but maybe?
It would explain why I haven't seen them.

ow. That's a bit unusual, isn't it? You normally have to enter them to get them added to the menu, so that's what I expected.

Thanks.

It's not a great vehicle.

I know. It's just a completion thing for me.

I imagine it's mostly for people who skip directly to Phantom Liberty at the start of a game.

It's actually the best one for exploring the badlands, and by that i mean going off-road into the bumpy and hilly terrain, searching for the little "hidden gems" they have strewn about.

The thing's all wheels, so it just eats up the bumps and dips like a mountain goat hopping around.

I can see that. I am more a fan of the scorpion bike for that are though.
re: Netwatch, their "hit squad" is four or eight agents that deploy out of two black SUVs labeled "Netwatch". At V's ability level upon completing Phantom Liberty, it's quite possible you wiped them out without even noticing. My first playthrough, they were all neutralized before I read what was on the side of their vehicles.

hehe. yeh, I am level 60 and I'm not good at paying attention, so it seems quite possible.

Thanks.
