Non lethal killing cyberpsychos

As the title says. I've played on and off since launch and had no problem not killing cyberpsychos with non lethal but now I've tried short circuit, fists, overheat and threat analysis mod that makes attacks non lethal and its killed them every time. Anyone else having trouble with this?

It seems easier to do overkill now. If anything hits them after taking "fatal" damage it'll do lethal damage regardless. Just have to be more careful with those last couple shots now.

Hit optical camo then run up behind grab and subdue. Message and get paid.
If that sounds to easy to be true., well.....It really is lol.

Yeah, fees a little inconsistent. On my new 1.5 run first couple of psychos I tried to be careful down to using my fists and some 'died' according to Reg. Then I just stopped caring, and unless I specifically behead someone it's a hit and miss whether dead or alive after a gun fight.

If you're stuck fighting them, Make sure you have an empty slot for fists. Get them down to about 5%, and then do a power move on them. If you hit them while they're KO'd it counts as a kill

I've always gone for knock outs rather than kills with the cyberpsychos and yes, its easy to accidentally kill them, I make sure I save before I tackle one because of that reason.

Sometimes its also enviromental like that guy on the hilltop in the Badlands where there are turrets and drones, if they fire at you when you take him down he gets killed for instance.
