GOG
are you going to make the game available on GOG? I mentioned the game in their forums and there is interest. Thanks

Hello! We plan to submit our game to GOG but we can't answer with a yes or no because at that point it will be up to GOG if they approve our game or not. From what I know they want the final version of the game (we will release in Early access so this might be a minus).

Thanks for the answer. I could have sworn I got the long dark in early access there a few years ago, maybe not but it seems to me 1.0 was released long after I purchased the game.Anyway, ty for the prompt reply

As far as I know, at some point, Long Dark was removed from Gog (not sure why).
Gog is really a different platform compared to Steam. It is somehow easier to put your game on Steam. On Gog, they want to see you are serious about it. And even though we are, they might treat our game as "just another early access game that will never be finished" and decline us.
We shall see when the time will come! :)

GOG does tend to be full of themselves. And the GOG Galaxy client is no better (its actually much worse) than the steam client, or the uplay client, or the origin client, blah blah blah. So I never understand why people demand a game be released on GOG (especially coming to steam to do it).

There is no such thing as "DRM Free" these days. No matter how much GOG try to claim something is.
