Northern Lights FAQ
To avoid repeating posts here on the community, we have compiled a list of the questions and answers that are most frequently asked. If your question isn’t answered below, please feel free to start a discussion here on the community hub or contact us.

This list will continue to get updated with new questions as time goes.

• Where can I post comments and see community discussions about the game?
Please visit our Community Hub on Steam here.

• When is the game coming out?
Northern Lights is still in development and will be released on Steam during the Winter season (2019). We decided to expose our game project to the public earlier to show our progression as we shape the game using the feedback we receive from our followers.

• Where will I be able to buy the game?
Northern Lights will be released on Steam and Discord. At the moment feel free to wishlist our game on Steam to be notified of its release and future discounts.

• Will the game be released on PC, Mac, Linux and Consoles?
We plan to release Northern Lights on as many platforms as possible. First, we will release on PC and a while after we have stabilized our game we will take the step to release our game to the consoles as well.

• Is there a beta to download? Will there be beta testing?
There are plans to start a campaign of selecting people that follow us on social media who have liked and posted feedback. We are interested in fans that want to play our game and could give us good honest feedback

• Will the game be multiplayer?
The initial release will not include any multiplayer game mode. With that being said, it’s one of our biggest priorities to include a CO-OP game mode in our game.

• I really like what MadGoat Studio is doing, how can I help?
Follow us on social media, give us valuable feedback on our posts and tell your friends about our game – this is the kind of help we need!

• Is there a Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Patreon page where I can donate?
No. The development of our game is self-funded. We don't believe in crowdfunding campaigns or similar money grabs. This way everyone can purchase the game when it becomes reality, rather than paying for something that only exists "on paper".
