"Quake II RTX Fatal Error: No ray tracing capable GPU found"
I installed this and I keep getting this message when I launch Quake II RTX. What does this mean? I just bought Quake 2 off of Steam recently.

...and do you have a ray-tracing-capable GPU?

I do not know. I wanted to play Quake 2 in proper fullscreen size (or in my case 3840x2160) and was told to download the Quake II RTX in a different pose I made on another matter.
GTX 1060 6GB and up with drivers from the 430 branch can launch it. RTX 2060 and up with drivers from the 430 branch can actually run it properly. Nothing can run it at decent framerates at 3840x2160.

If you just want to play Quake 2 at high resolution, use Q2PRO, which this is based on. Yamagi Quake or vkQuake2. You'll be able to use that with the files from your Quake 2 install.

This is a tech demo of an entirely path-traced game.

Edit: saw you were interested in Ogg soundtrack support, which Q2PRO doesn't have.
