let's find all the similarities to Twin Peaks
off the top of my head and having only played chapter 1, here's what I saw

the diner looks like the Double R, it's called the Triple D
Log Lady in the diner
coffee references everywhere
Sheriff Breaker looks like Cooper

I'm sure I missed some but I will post more as I play through the game

I kind of forgot the song that plays at the end of episode 1 was prominently featured in Blue Velvet, another Lynch film

I'd say the most obvious reference are the Black Lodge doppelganger inspired enemies you deal with the entire game. That and the abundance of trees.

Finally someone wants to have this convesation too !!!

umm ok well right at the top of my head ,the achivement "Damn Good Cup of Coffee" is an obvios refrence to agent Coppers love for it he even says it in the early episodes. I will post more when i remember damn if someone had started this conversation while i was playing this game m , well better now then never.

The "Lamp Lady" is the town oddball and even looks like Twin Peak's "Log Lady".

Somewhere in chapter 1 there is a giant tree trunk which has been struck by lighting in the past, as you learn if you press 'B' (or whatever the action key), that is said to have been estimated to have had the height of 66m and it is said to be a 'Douglas Fir' -- if you recall the beginning of Twin Peaks, Agent Cooper asks Sheriff Harry "what kind of fantastic trees have you got growing around here? Big, majestic.", to which he replies "Douglas Firs".

Surely there must be tons of other references. :triangle:

Well, Doug Firs are pretty common in the PNW, so no big surprise there, but I suppose it counts. TP has Windham Earl, ex-FBI agent turned psyco-villain, and AW's Nightingale seems to be heading down the same path.

The voice of the Police Receptionist is so similar to the series.

On the Triple D Diner menu it lists several Coffee sizes and Cherry Pie! I took a picture. Similar to Kyra's post, I just watched a Night Springs episode on the tv near the rotating bridge by the power plant about a plot hole portal opening in a lady's basement and she sounded a lot like Lucy from Twin Peaks.
Dr. Hartman's "Lodge"
