Really no chance to get 100%?

I have 99% and Fame Level 14!
And 89% of "Errungenschaften"

Actually 100% is obtained by upgrading all weapons + vehicles, finishing all the story missions, and completeing most of the challenges - check your statistics page and make sure there's no 0s in there

I do find there's no way to get all the achievements since 2 of them are multiplayer based and I can never get a multiplayer game going

Actually there is. Just start a multiplayer game and press skip to start it with bots, it still counts for the achievs!

Also, when it come to the 100% progress be aware that one of the story mission is not about winning but about killing everyone. Especially counterintuitive since it's the one where you don't have any weapon/mine but infinite nitro (Scissors run if 'im not mistaken) The good news is that other cars seems to have been weakend somehow since they are quite easy to break with bumper ... Just use a sturdy car and you should be fine (you can even wait for other cars if you can get them since teh mission is a 5 lap thingy ^^ )
