Reading from the forum posts and news on reddit, this game looks like an lgbtq agenda pamphlet. I was looking forward to it but if I encounter any those scenes I will stop playing. Can it be modded or turned off, if you are not into those kinds of things?

...and as usual the young people that have been half brainwashed come on and post that you're the problem. Thing is that they don't really know any other way as whats traditional is being purposefully removed from our societies in the west. They have been taught reflexive anti traditional thought defense as well as the posts also show. They simply lack the ability to see it.

No. It only happens if you play a male character and hit on the other male character then yes gay scenes but you can always turn them down. You could always choose not to hit on them and just hit on the girls so it is not gay. Over my 100+ hours of playing this game I have not encountered any gay scenes. So it all depends on you and how you interact with the other characters.

Out of 50 hours of my playthrough I've seen maybe 20 minutes of playtime dedicated to romantic scenes and maybe 2 minutes total of companions of the same gender expressing their interest. Simply choosing the friendly not-romantic option was enough for them to start considering me as friend and only friend.
This game is not about romance and the fact that this is the most hot topic around here is absurd.

IMHO most people around here are either guys who farm for points or russians who (as always) pirated the game and try to attack the developer as if anyone cares what non-customer thinks.

Nothing is being "pushed" on you. If you want to play a straight character play a straight character. I'm playing a trans elven lesbian because fantasy RPGs let you be things you aren't in real life.

You only get conversations where you can get disapproval if you reciprocate and say yes to them expressing intrest in you from my understanding.
I have said no every time and never got disapproval.

The companions are scripted to like the main character regardless of gender once you reach a certain point.

Whether you let them romance you or not is entirely up to you.

Exactly right.
The initial flirt can be a bit forward, and it is weird but the game respects you if you say no let's be friends.

Yes, because clearly the biggest issues with not just this game, but any game, are whether or not you have LGBT characters. Not the gameplay or length, not whether it's "always online" or forces you to have a third-party account. No, it's the LGBT characters.

i encountered 3 gay nbcs (which is not a lot since there are hundreds and maybe thousands of them)
and one trans nbc
the romance options are too open
you can sleep with a lot of nbcs and its not that hard
it wasnt shoved down my throat it was just there if i wanted i could explore more on it or i can just leave it
i have max approval with 2 male nbcs even after i rejected them
