Hello I re-entered the hag's tea house and had Ephemeral Whispers happen to my party- now they are fighting each other-is there any way to avoid this? Thank you for your advice

That's a DC 19 condition. For act 1 DC 19 is very high which means it is very tough to come out of the save throw. First make sure you understand what Save Throws are. Read the wiki and your combat log so you understand how they work.

1) Any Wisdom based caster has higher natural resistance to the condition, for example shadowheart.
2) Look for ways to improve saving throws, eg, bless, resistance, both of which shadowheart should have.
3) I think Protection from Evil and Good cures it. This requires concentration so be aware.

Remember when holding concentration casting another spell requiring concentration will break the first spell.
