Larian will continue to make good games as long as Sven doesn't sell out to a larger game company or a private equity firm or investor that will prioritize profit over gameplay.
Any great studio / indie dev who has this happen to them (due to previous success), you can typically consider them to be past their prime because they will need to create games with a profit-first motive (i'm not against capitalism or anything btw) than a gameplay / story first motive, in order to justify the sale price for the new investors.
