BG3 to... Dragon Age: Origins?

Seems there's this small migration of players who beat BG3 playing DA:O? It's an interesting phenomenon, can someone expand on why this is happening? I'm downloading DA:O right now.

Dead space remake came out well though. There is also System Shock which looks great but i'm not sure who owns the company and IP.

Apparently the Kotor remake is already in development hell, and changed devs to some East Eu studio last i checked. I think it was called Saber Interactive or something.

DAO is one of my most replayed games of all time. I can see where people would draw some parallels even though it's a different beast.

Even though it's one of my top games of all time BG3 has it beat in narrative complexity, gameplay and reactivity.

DAO is ultimately a tolkien style "go beat Sauron and the Orcs" story.

Combat is also a much more straightforward thing in DAO, while still enjoyable.

Developers who worked on Dragon age 1, Also worked on baldurs gate 3, And playing baldurs gate 3, IT kinda makes you feel like you miss how games used to be, fun, Dragon age 1 was fun,

See? You KNEW he is some shonen dude. I KNEW he was some shonen dude. But Fenris ALWAYS gets a pass because... he is written quite solid. I am certain a lot of teenagers liked Fenris. Bioware even did it twice - remember that Ninja chick from Mass Effect, her whole scene, remember that Ninja fight? Kek.

There's also the snakey assassin dude. Still great characters.

The System Shock remake by Nightdive Studios was good, but I wish they had used up-to-date graphics. I don't buy the "we wanted to keep the look", but I belive in tight budgets. And a more believable Shodan (less contradictory dialogue) would not have been amiss either.

BG3 is a spiritual successor of DA:O of sorts and DA:O is simply the superior experience

Did you buy the game? What do the graphics look like? It looked great on Youtube but fidelity and detail never translates well from video. Definitely interested in purchasing.

Bg 3 is a great game. Yes it has it s woke moments and it was horrible when everyone want to have sex with you at the same time. But it s a great game.
I will say in terms of exploration and combat Bg3 is one of the best.
DAO is jut a masterpiece. DAO is right there with Baldur gate 2 and 1, New Vegas and Neverwinters

Same genre maybe people got the itch to play after BG 3.

If you don't count the Star Wars game DA:O was basically the next step in CRPGs for bioware after BG3.
