Want to try one more?
Start the game using the executable with Steam app off.
Mhm. It is because there is no DRM. But your feedback is still valuable in pinpointing the issue.
You did restart your PC as written in the guide, yes?
Then the last card I would have to play would be:
remove everything in
except for the folder PlayerProfiles and its subfolder.
Then try again after a restart launching the bg3_dx something somewhat exe
We've been troubleshooting this for a while in the Discord, and this has now solved it for multiple people.
I encourage you both go into the discord and see what troubleshooting has gone on in the past 18 or so hours for other people, I'm sure a lot more people have had stuff come up and found workarounds, including people from EA, who have other files on their system they had to toss out. I hear there is a folder in the documents folder that is from EA V 6? Im not from EA
Right click the game on the left side of your steam game page, click on properties, then installed files, and click on 'Verify Integrity of Game Files.'
I've had several instances where the game crashes and then won't start back up, but verifying seems to rectify the issue. Hope this helps!
What about the updated section 4 in the guide?
