Do you think it is normal for two heterosexual males to suddenly engage in homosexuality just because they talked at a camp 2-3 times? Can you even imagine? Do you want to?

I am talking about my character and Gale. There were nothing and I mean NOTHING that suggested that I should avoid friendly conversations with Gale. I didn't wanted to play as a gay character and the game did not showed, told or suggested to me that Gale is gay and he is into my character that way.

I have nothing against gays, but why am I low key forced to play one? This just ruined a fantasy friendship. What is the purpose of these companion characters? I mean there is a gay vampire, who I really like (as a friend lol), why do we need everybody else to also be gay?

It's just so weird and unnecessary. I am not playing DnD tabletop, is this something that people do? I mean do they get together week by week and live out homoerotic fantasies with long time same sex friends in a board game?

I guess jokes on me for buying the game early. Clearly I am not the target audience for it.

But also, it's a fantasy game with dragon people, magic, and mind worms. So it's not that much of a stretch for the imagination that the people within the fantasy world are more sexually fluid.

It's more like Dragon Age 2 where companions are 'player sexual' aka....romantically interested in your character no matter what sex or romantic preference you RP them as so you have the option of romancing any character you might fancy. But much like real life, if you're not interested in someone who propositions you, grow up and just say no and go on with your life.
