I think it's ironic because "non-binary" is inherently reductive to the concept of gender itself. It implies that, since there are only two states, all men are the same as all other men, and all women are the same as all other women.

Because obviously feminine men and masculine women don't exist. They aren't actually men or women at all, because "man" and "woman" are actually incredibly rigid concepts with specific and defined rules, and if you don't fit perfectly into that label, you need to fit perfectly into a new label instead.

Hi, there is a character creation feature you may have missed. It's near the randomized button. It's labeled "Edit Appearance" and it allows you to change your character to be traditionally gendered. I know a game like this can be complex, but I hope this helps.

Lgbtq+ exists. It's fine. People can be what they feel they are. The gender pronoun thing is far more annoying because it always feels fake, but it's no different than most older generations emo phase. Up to them to grow up or embrace it.

The only real abuse and brainwashing I can think of is the Christian/Catholic heavy faith set communities.

Options like that in a video game like BG3 are quote "destroying society", and by not hating said options and fighting against them i'm part of the problem in your worldview?
