NOMAD’S RESPITE is a HARDCORE ROLEPLAY server with helpful staff and a friendly player base! Because our server is an only 18+ community, we encourage all kinds of RP from being organized raiders, friends just trying to survive another day, or someone who's willing to give it all to save others.

We're excited to kick off Season 1 on Friday 3/10. Below you'll find all the information you'll need to survive in Season 1:

The Launch Event:
Our server will kick-off with an opening event on Friday March 10th at 8:30PM EST. All players that attend will start their journey's in the same suburb. A series of events will expose us to the infested -- and we'll band together to survive and thrive in this horrible, trippy world. All players that attend the event will be included in The Neighborhood Watch player faction.

On-Boarding Events;
If you'd like to join the community, but missed the launch event, no worries! Reach out to someone on the #event team to coordinate an onboarding event.

Future-Events:
The team expects to host new and interesting events quite regularly -- with a focus on creating interesting scenarios that connect characters to one another and the wider world.

Gameplay:
Infested, not Infected: This zombie-plague isn't your typical virus -- rather its a waterborne fungal infection. Survivors can only be colonized if they ingest sufficient amounts of tainted water. Steer clear of municipal water sources and non-packaged foods -- these sources were compromised early on.

Day-Sprinters; Infested are desperate, ravenous shells of their former selves!
Heavy-Sleepers: Infested need to sleep just as much as human's do -- maybe even more!

Tips for new players:
--Invest in Stealth, Sprinting, or both.
--Guns and Bows are your friend: Infested might be fast, but a bullet's a bullet. A couple rounds in the belly is enough to put any day-sprinter down for good.
--Group Up: Whether you join the watch or start your own faction, this server is balanced around group-play. There's plenty of opportunity to make friends, so don't be shy!

As our main focus is on storytelling and advancing our community... The choices you make can affect this constantly changing world. From the ashes of the old world rises a new one, free of the burdens of modern day living. What will you do with this second chance? The only thing we know for certain, is THIS IS HOW YOU DIED.

Mods on the server consist of QoL mods and vehicles to hard optional traits including the "Susceptible Mod"
