Can't speed up time
I used to have a setting in the corner of the screen that let me speed up time. It's now gone. Did an update get rid of the ability to fast forward time?

Multiplayer? Disabled.

Single player and mods? Check mods.

I was playing on my server, that's probably why

If you need to advance time on a server, make sure you choose CAN SLEEP option during setup. Then the only way to speed up time is to sleep. This is tricky, because if you are in server with others online at same time, all need to hit sleep for fast time. If you are only one on and sleep, then it goes fast.

You can't speed up time for other things like reading...that is disabled.

It would be pretty neat to have a setting where you can fast forward like normal if you were the only one online

But I'd imagine it would be abused by trolls to fling servers straight to winter during low periods on servers
